(At around one hour and sixteen minutes) In the cat fight with the cobra scene, as the cat emerges from behind the wooden ladder, a twine tethered to the cat is visible. As the cat tries to run away, the twine stretches taught. This might explain why the cat would stay and fight the cobra, rather than run away. This would not be the first time a tethered animal is forced to fight a cobra in Hong Kong kung fu movies, as a monkey is seen tethered in the animal fight scene in The 36th Chamber: The Final Encounter (1982), starring Chia-Hui Liu.
