‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Renewed For Season 2 By NBCUniversal

Two weeks into the 2019-20 season, We have the first freshman syndicated series to get a Season 2 pickup. NBCUniversal has given an early season 2 renewal to daytime talker The Kelly Clarkson Show. The hourlong syndicated program, produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Television Distribution, airs in 100% of the country on more than 200 stations, with the NBC O&Os as the core station group. The renewal will take it through the 2020-21 season.

The early renewal comes amid strong ratings for The Kelly Clarkson Show, which ranks as the No.1 new syndicated program. The show, which premiered September 9, had the strongest start to any new first-run strip in seven years with an average of 1.9 million viewers per episode.
