Country singer Lauren Alaina couldn’t have performed two more different dances than she got on “Dancing with the Stars” during “Boy Band and Girl Group Night.” First she tackled a lighthearted, fast-paced quickstep. Her quickstep to The Supremes‘ “Cant Hurry Love” got mixed reviews from the judges, with Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and even guest Joey Fatone pointing out moments where her timing and movements were off, though Carrie Ann Inaba was perplexed by those critiques, calling Alaina’s performance “fantastic.” She got solid scores for it, though: 9s from Inaba and Goodman and 8s from Fatone and Tonioli for a total of 34 out of 40.
