James Gunn Has Cast His King Shark For The Suicide Squad

To say that James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad will feature an eclectic lineup is an understatement. In addition to welcoming back familiar favorites such as Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang, we’ll be greeted by newcomers like the Polka-Dot Man, Peacemaker, Ratcatcher and a character yet to be revealed as played by Idris Elba (my money is on Bronze Tiger).

For some time though, we’ve been wondering who will fill the role of King Shark as the team’s monstrous brute, as it was once thought Michael Rooker had landed the gig. After that hope had been ripped away, the speculation continued. Until today, that is.

As it turns out, a different Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star has been enlisted, that being Steve Agee. As you may recall, he played the Ravager Gef in the Marvel flick. That said, we’d assume he’s established a good working relationship with Gunn,
