Filming wraps on Denis Villeneuve’s Dune

Brian Herbert, son of the legendary sci-fi author Frank Herbert, has announced that filming has wrapped on the hotly-anticipated feature film adaptation of Dune from visionary director Denis Villeneuve.

Planned as the first of a two-part adaptation of Herbert’s seminal novel, Dune began filming in Jordan back in March, and sees Timothee Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) leading the star-studded cast in the role of Paul Atreides, a character previously portrayed on the big screen by Kyle MacLachlan in David Lynch’s 1984 film.
