Josh Gad to lead ‘Honey I Shrunk The Kids’ legacy sequel

Josh Gad has been lined up to take the lead in the ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ legacy sequel, ‘Shrunk’ for Disney Studios.

The film is said to be set three decades after the original films in which Rick Moranis played scientist and inventor Wayne Szalinski, the man responsible for the child-shrinking machine.

Gad will play the grown-up son of Moranis’s Szalinski, Adam who then follows in his father footsteps and shrinks his own kids. The new project will reportedly be set in the same universe as the original movies albeit three decades later.
