Steve Carell's Burt Wonderstone Gets A Director

We are living in tough times, my friends. With Michael Scott leaving The Office, we no longer have a means of seeing new Steve Carell material every week. Seeing as Carell is one of the most likable leading men going at the moment, what's important to remember is that not being on the show will allow him to do a lot more movies, and now one of his upcoming projects has taken a huge step forward. Deadline reports that Don Scardino has signed on to direct Burt Wonderstone, which will star Carell as a magician who sees his star slowly fade as a younger, hipper magician becomes increasingly popular. The project will be Scardino's first feature film since 1999's Advice from a Caterpillar.
