Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor shake s leg with Gokuldham Society's residents

Actors Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan dropped in on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Tmkoc) to promote their upcoming film Street Dancer 3D.

The actors also did an impromptu jig with the actors on the sets. Varun was seen teaching the hook step to Jethaa Lal, who was more than eager to show it off.

?It was great fun to have the dancing stars on our sets. We learnt a few trendy dance steps from them and can now show it off to the audience. Their infectious energy rubbed off on us and we were all enthused for the rest of the day as we went ahead with the shoot,? says Dilip Joshi who plays the role of Jethaa Lal.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completes 2900 Happysodes

Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah (Tmkoc) will complete 2900 episodes today on 7th January 2020. The fiction comedy show is the first of its kind that has been running uninterruptedly for over a decade and is due to complete its 12th year later this year.

Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah is a clean family-oriented show which serves critical social issues based stories with a garnishing of wit and comedy. What made Ronit Roy feel proud

Actor Ronit Roy is proud of ActFest, an 'actors only festival', and says it was long overdue.

ActFest is being organised by Cintaa (Cine and TV Artistes' Association).?

"It's a great initiative by Cintaa... One that has taken a long time to come and I'm proud that Cintaa is now doing it," Ronit said in a statement.?

"It provides a stage to actors by actors. I'm proud to be a part of this," added the actor, who is part of the fest and will be talking about his journey in the industry.?

The festival, to be held on February 15-16, features popular artistes participating in discussions, conducting workshops or giving lectures on various aspects of the art. The event is conceived and designed by The 48 Hour Film Project, India.?

Boman Irani & Sharman Joshi hit Jethalal with Umbrella

However obnoxious it may sound but Boman Irani and Sharman Joshi came to Gokuldham Society accusing Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi of stealing their scooter. When Jethalal denied it Boman Irani hit him with his umbrella.

On the lighter side Boman Irani, who had come on the sets to promote his film, wanted to take Daya Ben (Disha Wakhani) for a ride on his scooter because Boman’s mother loves the serial Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Commented Sharman Joshi, “this is one show that is constantly funny without getting crass. Kudos to Asit Modi for keeping it clean and still maintaining the top position.”

Neela Telefilm’s produced serial Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah telecasts Monday to Thursday at 8 Pm on Sab TV.

Aamir Salman to play charity cricket match
A star studded cricket team comprising the likes of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will be playing a Twenty20 cricket match at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium on May 1,against a team of physically handicap, all bound by one common motive-to prove that disability is no handicap.

While some players wear calipers, others hobble on crutches a few are amputees, they have requested the actors not to give them any unfair advantage as they want the match to be a fair one.

The event named 'Junoon' is a Celebrity Charity Cricket Match supported by Eve Foundation (Empowering Villages Everywhere), Cricket Club of India and Rotaract Club of Hr College. The ticket proceeds of this match shall be used to provide prosthetics (artificial limbs) to the disabled living in the rural district of Satara, Maharashtra.
