Renée Zellweger continues to follow the yellow brick road to the Oscars.

The Los Angeles premiere of Judy on Thursday night in Beverly Hills kept the Academy Award winner on track for a possible second win come February.

“We’re just so happy we’re able to share it with you tonight,” Zellweger said to the crowd before the screening began at the Academy on Wilshire Boulevard. “And I hope that you guys love it and feel as much for [Garland] in watching it as we did in making it.”

About two hours later, as the credits rolled on the Rupert Goold-directed drama about the last months of Garland’s life, sniffles could be heard throughout the auditorium. Zellweger received thunderous applause when her name appeared on screen.

Downstairs, during the post-screening buffet dinner and reception, Zellweger was mobbed by well-wishers.

In case you need a little refresher, the California native played Brittany S. Pierce on Glee and she was brilliant. Brittany was a Cheerio, one of the unholy trinity alongside Santana (Naya Rivera) and Quinn (Dianna Agron), the "dumb blonde" of the Glee club and the sweetest person in Lima, Ohio. DC Is Reportedly Producing an Animated 2-Part Film Adaptation of Batman: The Long Halloween

An interesting report has surfaced from Rtf that says DC and Warner Bros. are developing a two-part film adaptation of the classic Batman story arc Batman: The Long Halloween.

I love this Batman story! It’s one of my favorites, and I was hoping to see it adapted as a live action feature film one day, but a two-part animated film will be good enough to tide me over. I’m actually surprised that it’s taken so long to bring this story to life!

I know that Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight was inspired by certain aspects of the book, but I’ve wanted to see a direct adaptation of the Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale comic.

If you’re not familiar with the story for some reason, here’s a synopsis:

Christmas. St. Patrick’s Day. Easter. As the calendar’s days stack up, so do the

Batman: The Long Halloween animated movie reportedly in development

If a rumour from Revenge of the Fans is to be believed, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are currently working on a two-part animated movie adaptation of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s classic Dark Knight tale Batman: The Long Halloween.

According to the site, The Long Halloween won’t take place in the shared DC Universe Animated Original Movies universe, but rather a standalone story similar to The Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke and Gotham By Gaslight adaptations, and will feature a voice cast that includes Troy Baker, Jensen Ackles, Naya Rivera, Titus Welliver and David Dastmalchian.

If you’re unfamiliar with Batman: The Long Halloween, here’s a synopsis:

“Christmas. St. Patrick’s Day. Easter. As the calendar’s days stack up, so do the bodies littered in the streets of Gotham City. A murderer is loose, killing only on holidays. The only man that can stop this fiend?

Rumor Has It a Batman: The Long Halloween movie is Coming

  • Cinelinx
To the delight of Batman fans everywhere, a two-part animated film adaptation of the legendary Batman story 'The Long Halloween' is reportedly in the works. Read on for details...

Reports have recently surfaced that indicate an animated film adaptation of Jeph Loeb's 'The Long Halloween' is on the way. Originally published as a mini-series from 1996-1997, 'The Long Halloween' has become a revered story among Batman fans as it set the tone for what many come to expect from the Dark Knight. Along with detailing the origins of Two-Face (formerly Harvey Dent), the story follows Batman as he races to stop Holiday, a villain who only kills on holidays.

According to the report, Batman: The Long Halloween will be split into two parts and will not be a part of the animated DC Universe. Rather, like Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) before it, this pair of films would exist as a standalone.

Batman: The Long Halloween Being Adapted Into Two-Part Animated Film

When it comes to the greatest Batman stories ever told in the comic book medium, the current decade has seen several of them adapted to fantastic animated movies. To name of a few of the classics, Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, Under The Red Hood and Gotham by Gaslight have each been brought to incredible life via Warner Home Entertainment’s DC-themed direct-to-video line.

Having said that, I’m quite excited by how my favorite comic storyline to feature the Dark Knight, Hush, will be added to the pantheon later this year, though there are still some glaring omissions. Seeing as how Hush was penned by Jeph Loeb, the filmmakers would be remiss if not to also take a crack at Batman: The Long Halloween at some point.

As it turns out, Revenge of the Fans – the very same outlet that brought us the rumored

9 Last-Minute Changes That Hurt Glee (And 11 That Saved It)

Glee ran for six seasons on Fox, from May of 2009 until March of 2015. In hindsight, this musical comedy series was responsible for achieving very important feats in the early days of what is now being considered the “Golden Age of TV.”

For instance, Glee solidified Ryan Murphy’s career as a television writer and showrunner, leaving behind his fame as Nip/Tuck creator and propelling him to projects such as American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Eat, Pray, Love, and The Normal Heart. Moreover, this show was responsible for launching the careers of up-and-coming actors such as Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, and Dianna Agron. What’s more, Glee also provided ample room for veteran actors to shine, including the likes of Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and Jayma Mays.

On an even deeper level, Glee was the first broadcast television series aimed at kids and teens to successfully
