Viktor Preiss was born on March 13, 1947 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He is an actor, known for Romaneto (1980), Dvacátý devátý (1974) and Veronika (1986).

Father of Martin Preiss.
He turned down the part of Jolana's father in Úcastníci zájezdu (2006), eventually played by Bohumil Klepl.
He turned down the part of Jirí in Buttoners (1997), eventually played by Borivoj Navrátil.
Originally he should appear as the psychiatrist in Nepravdepodobná romance (2013). However, due to the film's low budget, director Ivan Vojnár took the part himself.
Czech voice of Paul Eddington in Czech dubbing version of Yes Minister (1980) and Yes, Prime Minister (1986).
He turned down the part of Blau in Shadows of the Deceased (2005), eventually played by Martin Huba.
He is Czech dubbing voice of Robin Williams in most of his films.
