Sex And The City
star Sarah Jessica Parker
is finding motherhood rewarding yet challenging. The petite actress gave birth to baby James Last
October and like any other parent, sees her free time slipping away from her. She says, "I don't think there's enough time. Days will pass and I haven't had a chance to have a shower, like on weekends. I have a child and his needs are simply more important and that's a wonderful burden and I love it." And despite her international status as a fashion plate, Sarah has had to alter her wardrobe somewhat. She says, "There are simply things that I don't feel 'ready to wear'... Get it? So one must consider these things." She also doesn't want other new mothers to feel intimidated by how quickly she got back into shape following the pregnancy, adding, "I was forced to get in shape. I had a clock ticking and I just did the best I could. I'm sort of reluctant to talk about how I got back into shape because there's a standard that's realistic and unrealistic to me. I am lucky that I have money for child care and access to private work-out sessions."
