Lean, haunted-looking American second lead, under contract to Warner Brothers from 1940. Best known for his role in The Mad Ghoul (1943), he found decent roles hard to come by, after many of the bigger stars returned from wartime duties. He stuck around for several more years, appearing in B-movies for Universal before retiring in 1956. See more »
