Reginald Beckwith was born on November 2, 1908 in York, England as William Reginald Beckwith. He was an actor and writer, known for Thunderball (1965), Curse of the Demon (1957) and Sword of Lancelot (1963). He died on June 26, 1965 in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, England.

Chubby, curly-haired British character actor and playwright, as well as movie and theatre critic. Worked as a BBC correspondent during the war years, afterwards alternating comic and dramatic performances as nervously befuddled businessmen, clergy, upper-class toffs or military officers. Had a hit play with "Boys in Brown".
