Lance Bass is here to crush one of your ‘Masked Singer’ Turtle guesses
Slow and steady wins “The Masked Singer,” but Lance Bass is already taking himself out of the running. Some think the former ‘N Sync member is the Turtle on the current third season of the Fox hit, but the singer claims it’s not him underneath that Bowser-like shell.

“I do get a lot of tweets about ‘Lance is definitely the Turtle,’” Bass told “Entertainment Weekly.” “I get lots of weird tweets, and everyone guessing it’s me, but unfortunately, it’s not.”

Now, this could all be deflection if it is, in fact, him. The Turtle’s smooth vocals have the panelists convinced it’s a boy band star, spawning such guesses as Nick Lachey and Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy‘s husband who’s been a go-to guess since the first season. We’re only three episodes into season 3 of “The Masked Singer” but half of the contestants from Group A are gone. Of the four celebrities who sang on the February 12 episode, one of the biggest crowd pleasers was the singer hidden inside the Turtle costume.

We’ve been wondering who is famous face behind that elaborate mask ever since he performed on the premiere. On that post-Super Bowl episode, he made Seal‘s signature tune “Kiss From a Rose” his own. Then on week 2 he did the same with “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur.

We’ve done some digging and rewatched those performances as well as the clues videos. We are certain that the judges are wrong with their guesses that the Turtle is either Jenny McCarthy‘s husband Donnie Wahlberg or his New Kids on the Block bandmate Joey McIntyre. When asked if he’s currently competing as the Turtle, Aj McLean replied, “Oh my God, this is still going on? No, because I’m here right now, so I’m clearly not the turtle.” When host Andy Cohen reminded McLean that The Masked Singer is “not a live show,” McLean added, “But still… Even if I was, I wouldn’t tell anyone.”

‘Blue Bloods’ Cast Reacts To Death Of Producer Leonard Goldberg
The cast of Blue Bloods, where Leonard Goldberg was an executive producer for one of television’s top-rated shows, has begun sharing their grief online after hearing of his death today at age 85.

Tom Selleck, who plays Frank Reagan, the New York Police Commissioner, and patriarch of the Reagan clan, a multigenerational family of cops, sent out a statement on Goldberg.

“Leonard Goldberg was quite simply irreplaceable. As a creative force, as a boss, as a friend, as a husband, and a father,” Selleck told Deadline. “His unwavering commitment to our show inspired all of us to take to heart his frequently asked question, ‘what can we do to make it better?’ Rest in peace my friend.”

Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan, Frank’s oldest son, called Goldberg “a friend and a mentor.”

“Thank you for believing in me, Mr. Goldberg,” Wahlberg tweeted.

Leonard Goldberg, Former 20th Century Fox President, Dies at 85
Leonard Goldberg, the TV executive and producer who previously served as president of 20th Century Fox, died on Thursday at the age of 85.

He died at Cedars Sinai Medical Center from injuries resulting from a fall, according to a spokesperson. He was surrounded by his family.

Goldberg served as president of 20th Century Fox for two years beginning in 1987. Under his leadership, the studio produced such notable films as “Broadcast News,” “Big,” “Die Hard,” “Wall Street,” and “Working Girl.” Under his own banner, Goldberg also served as producer on projects including “WarGames,” “Sleeping With The Enemy,” “Double Jeopardy,” and “Charlie’s Angels.”

Hollywood mourned the death of actor Robert Forster today, remembering him as a consummate professional who brought magic to his screen portrayals while retaining a warm, human touch in his everyday interactions.

“Our hearts go out to Robert and his family,” Breaking Bad and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie producer Sony Pictures TV, said in a statement. “He was a true professional and an integral part of our Breaking Bad family. He will be missed.”

Robert Forster, Oscar-Nominated ‘Jackie Brown’ and ‘Twin Peaks’ Star, Dies at 78
Robert Forster, a character actor best known for “Twin Peaks” and his Oscar-nominated performance in Quentin Tarantino’s “Jackie Brown,” has died. He was 78.

The New York native, who suffered from brain cancer, died Friday in his Los Angeles home.

Forster made his first impression on Hollywood audiences in back-to-back movies set in the Army, the first being in 1967 playing the free-spirited, birthday-suit-loving Army private Ellgee Williams in John Huston’s “Reflections in a Golden Eye,” starring Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor. The next year, he played a half-breed scout in “The Stalking Moon” opposite Gregory Peck.
