TV-MA | 55 min | Crime, Drama
New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano deals with personal and professional issues in his home and business life that affect his mental state, leading him to seek professional psychiatric counseling.

2. Twin Peaks (2017)
TV-MA | 60 min | Crime, Drama, Fantasy
Picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town are stunned when their homecoming queen is murdered.
Everything I loved from the original 'Twin Peaks' but now is the "pure heroin" vision of it and is ready to f*ck the brains out of "what a TV series is supposed to be". Lynch, Frost and co. have returned to the extrange and little town of 'Twin Peaks' but not only for nostalgia's sake but to go full surrealist, full R-rated and to give us more incredible moments, more iconic characters and obviously, more beautifully-made confusion.
From the music to the acting, going through the visuals and the writing. Eighteen unforgettable hours of pure art and, most likely, my favorite series of all time. 10/10
Fav. episodes: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 7, Part 8 (!!), Part 13, Part 16, Part 17, Part 18.

Great performances, phenomenal writing, amazing editing and a stunning cinematography makes 'Better call Saul' funny, thrilling, real, emotional and a really re-watchable series. Much more than a simple spin-off to 'Breaking Bad'. 9.5/10
6. BoJack Horseman (2014– )
TV-MA | 25 min | Animation, Comedy, Drama
BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit television show "Horsin' Around" in the '80s and '90s, now he's washed up, living in Hollywood, complaining about everything, and wearing colorful sweaters.
'Bojack Horseman' is much more than the simple-looking comedy that's supposed to be. 'Bojack' it's the perfect mix of dark and silly comedy, social commentary and drama in a very emotional, funny and even depressive way. (Yeah, funny and depressive in the same sentence, it's that good.) 9.5/10

12. Twin Peaks (1990–1991)
TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
An idiosyncratic FBI agent investigates the murder of a young woman in the even more idiosyncratic town of Twin Peaks.
Eerie. A unique mix of genres that at first seems like some kind of melodramatic soap opera but episode after episode and thanks to the stellar performance by Kyle MacLachlan and the amazingly directed surreal moments rises as some kind of weird, intelligent and addictive 'high art' TV series with a lot of unforgettable moments, iconic characters and a really rich mythology. 9/10
(Season 2 is not as good as the first one but ironically, it has the best episodes: Is great until ep. 9 and it finally gives a "conclusion" to Laura's case, then there's a lot of filler episodes with some funny moments in between but nothing really special and then the last couple of episodes are just as great as before, especially the very last one, ep. 22: 'Beyond Life and Death', that is probably the best episode in the whole series.)
Fav. episodes: Pilot, Zen or the skill to catch a killer, Realization Time, The Last Evening, May the Giant be with you, The Orchid's Curse, Lonely Souls, Arbitrary Law, Miss Twin Peaks, Beyond Life and Death.

In April 1986, an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics becomes one of the world's worst man-made catastrophes.
Amazingly shot and written miniseries by HBO about one of the most horrific and traumatizing tragedies of all time. It's scary, haunting, tense, bleak and, surprisingly enough, more entertaining than half of the 'not realistic' television out there. 9/10.
16. The Eric Andre Show (2012– )
TV-MA | 11 min | Comedy, Talk-Show
Eric Andre tries to host a talk show in a bizarre environment, where he is sometimes the player of pranks and sometimes the victim.

17. Stranger Things (2016– )
TV-14 | 51 min | Drama, Fantasy, Horror

21. Euphoria (2019– )
TV-MA | 55 min | Drama
A look at life for a group of high school students as they grapple with issues of drugs, sex, and violence.
Great performances, some kind of neo nihilism, a group of not-so annoying teenagers, an stylish and colorful cinematography and an almost ethereal soundtrack are the, somehow, perfect mix to create one of the most compelling and honest series out there. 8/10 (so far)
(The music video type editing gets a little repetitive and confusing at times yet it makes complete sense because the series subject.)
fav. episodes: Stuntin' Like My Daddy, Shook One: Pt II, The Next Episode, The Trials and Tribulations of Trying to Pee While Depressed.
22. Samurai Jack (2001–2017)

TV-MA | 30 min | Animation, Action, Adventure
After being betrayed and murdered by his employer, a government trained assassin named, Al Simmons, is resurrected as a Hellspawn and is forced to become the reluctant leader of Hell's army.
It's dark, philosophical, mysterious, violent and Keith David as Spawn is just... perfect. HBO 'Spawn', IMO, is even better than the original comic books. Sadly, it was canceled after season 3 and we never get to see the real ending. 8/10
27. Preacher (2016–2019)
TV-MA | 60 min | Adventure, Drama, Fantasy
After a supernatural event at his church, a preacher enlists the help of a vampire and his ex to find God.
It's not as good as the comic book.
The comic book... A masterpiece. This series, mmm... Really well done, action packed, a lot of dark comedy, a really good cast and some crazy-good visuals.
So, whats the problem, right?
Well, my only little problem with 'Preacher' is that it could have been an amazing series and, after an amazing first season (despite the differences with the source material), it ended up being a freaking mess of a show. 8/10 (season 1 and part of 2)

30. The Boys (2019– )
TV-MA | 60 min | Action, Comedy, Crime
A group of vigilantes set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.
They did a great job adapting the lead characters (Homelander, Butcher, Starlight, Hughie, etc.) and the visuals are really good for TV, but that's pretty much it. There's a lot of boring side characters and plot lines in between those great action scenes and funny dialogue and I am pretty sure the writers didn't finished reading the original comic books because that season finale, wow, that was bad. 7/10 (so far)
(If you liked it, do yourself a favor and read the comics books by Garth Ennis.)
