7/10 - If you can accept that the story continues to build on something that doesn't make much sense from God of War II, it is very much enjoyable, and the gameplay is an improvement on God of War II, the great level design from God of War I has returned, I just wish the story and the characters were better written

7/10 - While certainly weaker than the others in the series, it does bridge the gap between I and II, and does quite a good job trying to explain the character motivations and such that doesn't make sense in II otherwise. I do wish I had played this before I had played II
