1. Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008–2011)

TV-Y7 | 30 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

An updated animated series centering on the Caped Crusader himself as he partners and deals with his fellow superheroes in the DC Comics universe.

Stars: Diedrich Bader, John DiMaggio, James Arnold Taylor, Dee Bradley Baker

Votes: 6,943

I don't believe the, "Oh, we just planned 2 years" excuse. This show was so magnificent it shouldn't have been replaced by anything. Why can't there be two batman shows? Plus, Beware the Batman is not good, imo. I put Batman: Animated Series just above this one.

2. Superman: The Animated Series (1996–2000)

TV-PG | 30 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

The last son of the planet Krypton protects his adoptive home of Earth as the greatest of the superheroes.

Stars: Tim Daly, Joseph Bologna, Dana Delany, David Kaufman

Votes: 12,501

Just want more of this show...

3. Metalocalypse (2006–2013)

TV-MA | 11 min | Animation, Comedy, Music

The epic and over-the-top adventures of Dethklok, the world's most successful death metal band.

Stars: Brendon Small, Tommy Blacha, Mark Hamill, Victor Brandt

Votes: 14,675

I don't care if Brendon Small wants to quit the show, they can't get another voice actor or metal band??? A new movie just isn't enough!

4. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (2010–2012)

TV-Y7 | 30 min | Animation, Action, Family

After 74 villains break out of prison, Marvel's most powerful superheroes team up to capture all of them, and also to defend the Earth from widespread threats.

Stars: Eric Loomis, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Brian Bloom, Rick D. Wasserman

Votes: 12,162

Also a top 10 cartoon of all time. I don't really like the new Avengers show, and maybe haven't given it a good enough try, but when this was cancelled it was like losing a foot. I thought it was that good. More please!

5. Darkwing Duck (1991–1992)

TV-Y7 | 30 min | Animation, Short, Action

A bumbling superhero battles crime with the help of his daughter and pilot sidekick.

Stars: Jim Cummings, Terence McGovern, Christine Cavanaugh, Katie Leigh

Votes: 13,395

Obviously would have to be in the original drawn fashion, no new computer effects. I love(d) this show and it would be fun to see the characters back. There just aren't enough duck shows anymore.

6. Sym-Bionic Titan (2010–2011)

TV-PG | Animation, Action, Adventure

Three young alien beings with the ability to form a giant robotic warrior attempt to blend into suburbia, all while battling the tyrannical forces that ravaged their home world.

Stars: Tara Strong, Kevin Thoms, Brian Posehn, John DiMaggio

Votes: 2,008

This show never got it's chance to shine. Another amazing show by Genndy Tartakovsky left at the way side.

7. Futurama (1999–2013)

TV-14 | 22 min | Animation, Comedy, Sci-Fi

Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy, is accidentally frozen in 1999 and thawed out on New Year's Eve 2999.

Stars: Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille

Votes: 200,248

This show has been cancelled so many times it's got to have 9 lives. Well, there's like 5 lives left! Bring it back someone! Netflix? Anyone!

8. Garfield and Friends (1988–1995)

TV-G | 30 min | Animation, Comedy, Family

Stories about Garfield the cat, Odie the dog, their owner Jon and the trouble they get into, and Orson the Pig and his adventures on a farm with fellow farm animals.

Stars: Lorenzo Music, Thom Huge, Gregg Berger, Howard Morris

Votes: 9,529

No more crappy CGI 3D stuff. Just a hand drawn, fun, pie in your face, party with Odie, good time. Kids today don't even know about the farm characters, which is a shame.

9. Invader ZIM (2001–2004)

TV-Y | 24 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

An alien named Zim from the planet Irk is sent on a secret mission to conquer Earth, not realising that his leaders were just trying to get rid of him and hoped that he would die. Once there, Zim manages to disguise himself as a human child, but one boy named Dib sees through his disguise.

Votes: 18,504

Yes.

Stars: Brendon Small, H. Jon Benjamin, Melissa Bardin Galsky, Ron Lynch

Votes: 8,883

Brendon Small I'm looking at you again... You know you want to bring this back! And anything that gives H. Jon Benjamin more work is always a good thing.

11. Clerks (2000–2001)

R | 22 min | Animation, Comedy

The continuing adventures of clerks Dante and Randal, who try to make the best of their menial labor, with no help from Jay and Silent Bob.

Stars: Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith

Votes: 11,499

One of the funniest cartoons not watched by anyone. Me included. I got the VHS of it though (yes VHS) years ago, and it's still hilarious. Plus I loved the thick black lined style that's not used anymore, or at least not enough.

12. The Critic (1994–2001)

TV-14 | 522 min | Animation, Comedy, Drama

Jay Sherman is a New York film critic who has to review films he doesn't like for a living.

Yikes, Jon Lovitz next to Kevin Smith... What else is Lovitz doing? I miss this show...

Lucy is the 21 year old daughter of Satan in this dark comedy.

Stars: H. Jon Benjamin, Melissa Bardin Galsky, Jon Glaser, Sam Seder

Votes: 1,373

Again, H. Jon Benjamin + working = great. This was a really under appreciated show I think. There should be more.

A genius mouse and his stupid sidekick try to conquer the world each night.

Stars: Maurice LaMarche, Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, Frank Welker

Votes: 26,423

Just like Animaniacs I wish this had 500 more episodes. This was arguably better than Animaniacs and one of the best written cartoons, or tv shows, of all time. Yeah, that's right, Breaking Bad was inspired by this.

15. G.I. Joe: Renegades (2010–2011)

Animation, Action, Adventure

This animated series shows the Joes on the run from the Government, trying to clear their names and stop their evil nemesis, Cobra.

Stars: Jason Marsden, Matthew Yang King, Kevin Michael Richardson, Natalia Cigliuti

Votes: 876

An amazing GI Joe show, cut down in its prime, which was even more painful by the awful GI Joe that followed. It deserves a come back.

16. The Super Hero Squad Show (2009–2011)

TV-Y7 | Animation, Action, Comedy

Marvel's greatest heroes and evilest of villains battle it out in action packed, yet somewhat satirical alternate universe-style adventures.

Stars: Tom Kenny, David Boat, Steve Blum, Travis Willingham

Votes: 1,347

One of the funniest shows ever. More Marvel stuff! More Avengers! Come on Marvel, live action is nice, but don't forget about the cartoons!

Stars: Steve Blum, Jim Ward, Nolan North, Fred Tatasciore

Votes: 9,249

A really good show, didn't last very long. I'd change the title though, how about... hmmm...."The X-Men"?

18. Justice League (2001–2004)

TV-PG | 22 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

Seven of the most formidable heroes form arguably the most powerful team ever.

Stars: Carl Lumbly, Phil LaMarr, Michael Rosenbaum, George Newbern

Votes: 37,587

Justice League and Young Justice together! Plus, wasn't there a Justice League movie that was coming out soon? Well, like, in X years, but hey, tie ins can work with the right writers.

19. The Venture Bros. (2003– )

TV-MA | 22 min | Animation, Comedy, Sci-Fi

The bizarre animated escapades of pseudo-heroic scientist Dr. Rusty Venture, his competent, high strung bodyguard, and his two over-enthusiastic sons.

Stars: Christopher McCulloch, James Urbaniak, Doc Hammer, Michael Sinterniklaas

Votes: 22,256

This isn't cancelled or anything, I just want them to make more episodes and faster. :P

20. Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man (1994–1997)

TV-PG | 30 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

A crass, womanizing duck works as a private eye with his level-headed pig sidekick, all-the-while raising a family as a single dad.

Stars: Jason Alexander, Gregg Berger, Nancy Travis, Dweezil Zappa

Votes: 5,170

Another amazing show that deserves a comeback. Jason Alexander can't be THAT busy. It would also fit in with the more adult cartoons nowadays. Truly ahead of its time.

21. Sealab 2021 (2000–2005)

TV-14 | 11 min | Animation, Comedy, Sci-Fi

The drama of an oft-doomed aquatic colony and its personnel, who hate each other.

NEED MORE, DO WANT

22. Dilbert (1999–2000)

Stars: Daniel Stern, Larry Miller, Gordon Hunt, Chris Elliott

Votes: 5,279

One of the best satires ever made. Every time I see a repeat (thanks IFC for doing something right) I laugh so much. This show was also under appreciated I think.

23. Todd McFarlane's Spawn (1997–1999)

TV-MA | 30 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

After being betrayed and murdered by his employer, a government trained assassin named, Al Simmons, is resurrected as a Hellspawn and is forced to become the reluctant leader of Hell's army.

Stars: Keith David, Richard Dysart, Dominique Jennings, James Keane

Votes: 6,870

There were only 18 episodes. That is no where near enough for such an amazing show. Keith David still sounds awesome too!

24. Beast Wars: Transformers (1996–1999)

TV-Y7 | 30 min | Animation, Action, Sci-Fi

The Transformers' war continues in an older time, through a new generation. On pliocenic Earth, the heroic Maximals and the evil Predacons battle for survival against each other and against a violent planet.

Stars: Scott McNeil, Garry Chalk, Ian James Corlett, Richard Newman

Remember when there weren't any humans? I do too, and it was great.

Max, a 12 year old boy, finds a magical cap that can teleport him across dimensions.

Stars: Rob Paulsen, Tony Jay, Richard Moll, Corey Burton

Votes: 1,524

This show deserves a come back. This was Dora the Explora for my childhood, but awesome and extreme. Interdimensional jumping, monsters, demons, killing stuff, ripping apart evil! Okay, I really don't remember too much about it, except I need more now.

26. Conan: The Adventurer (1992–1993)

25 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

Young Cimmerian barbarian Conan and his allies must stop snake-man wizard Wrath-Amon and his snake-men army from resurrecting evil serpent god Set. Conan must also destroy the evil wizard's ring that turned his family into stone.

Stars: Michael Donovan, Michael Beattie, Scott McNeil, Doug Parker

Votes: 966

One of the most epic cartoons of all time. No reason that with the right people it can't be just as epic. I got a hankering for some Star Metal!

27. The Legend of Zelda (1989)

TV-Y | 15 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

Based on the popular Nintendo game of the same name. Link and Princess Zelda protect the mystical artifact, the Triforce of Wisdom, from falling into the hands of the evil sorcerer Ganon.

Stars: Cynthia Preston, Jonathan Potts, Tabitha St. Germain, Len Carlson

Votes: 861

Okay, no more, "Well, excuuuuuuuuse meeee Princess!" This series has the best mythos, stories, and characters out of almost any game. There's no reason this can't be the best cartoon either.

28. Dino-Riders (1988)

22 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

Pursued by intergalactic warlord Krulos and his Rulons, human Valorians fly through a wormhole and end up on the prehistoric Earth. Krulos follows and becomes stuck in prehistory as well. Both sides build dinosaur armies and engage.

Stars: Dan Gilvezan, Charlie Adler, Peter Cullen, Noelle North

Okay... Dinosaurs... with laser guns and rocket launchers... strapped to their body on armor... with Riders... blowing up stuff... uhh, why is this not a show now???

Stars: Robert Bockstael, Barbara Budd, Len Carlson, Allen Stewart-Coates

Votes: 776

Who's idea was it to have only a mini-series?? Now with the new RoboCop movie coming out, I should have RoboCop shooting people as a cartoon too!

30. BraveStarr (1987–1989)

TV-Y7 | 30 min | Animation, Action, Family

A Native American marshal and his friends keep the peace on the frontier planet of New Texas.

Mighty Mouse has humorous, satirical adventures in this short-lived Saturday Morning cartoon by Ralph Bakshi.

Stars: Patrick Pinney, Dana Hill, Rodger Bumpass, Michael Pataki

Votes: 557

I couldn't believe how few episodes this show had. When I was 3 or so I guess I didn't really think about it. Now I am thinking, and I think there should be more Mighty Mouse.

32. Thundercats (2011–2012)

TV-PG | Animation, Action, Adventure

After his home kingdom is destroyed by the ancient devil priest Mumm-Ra, the young Thundercat Lord Lion-O leads a team of survivors as they fight evil on Third Earth.

Stars: Will Friedle, Matthew Mercer, Kevin Michael Richardson, Emmanuelle Chriqui

Votes: 5,904

Appropriate to be last. This was the 2nd biggest shocker to have disappeared from existence (Young Justice being 1st). Probably one of the greatest animated series ever to be made. This show was so powerful and intense at times it rivaled the best tv shows. The scope, magnitude, emotion, and work that went into this show was above and beyond. Having only seen a few of the 1985 series, I didn't know what to expect, until I saw the trailer. It was amazing. The double part opener was so huge in scale, so beautifully drawn, done with such care, I would have thought it was a movie. Every episode was this amazing, even the lesser ones. They didn't hold anything back in the writing, didn't dumb things down, took risks, had passion, a soul. This one hurt. It deserves to come back above all others. The only reason I say Young Justice was the #1 shocker was the ratings. Not sure about the ratings for Thundercats, but the way it ended, and to never come back. It's a real travesty. Just imagine if Empire Strikes Back ended... without a Return of the Jedi. If someone has a heart at Cartoon Network, they'll order this show back without a second thought. Thunda- Thunda- Thundercats hoooooo!

33. Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (1987–1988)

Not Rated | 23 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

In the distant future, a team of four high tech Star Sheriffs defends frontier space colony Yuma from outlaws, as well as Outriders, an army of humanoid alien beings called Vapors, led by mysterious Nemesis, who need Yuma's resources.

Stars: Townsend Coleman, Pat Fraley, Pat Musick, Rob Paulsen

Votes: 2,075

This is about Space Cowboys!! Their horses are robots/spaceships, and they can turn back into Western cowboys, which is weird, but hey, it's still awesome! Absolutely need an updated version of this, especially since I've had Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop nostalgia lately
