My Pick for a Life is Strange Movie (or better a Netflix TV show)

by diego_cuevs21 | created - 6 months ago | updated - 2 months ago | Public

I’m a huge fan of this game and typing this now it has been a huge success featuring so many spinoffs, sequels, and tons of new story base games to be more imaginative. It is a work of art and I love it. So here are my picks for a movie if they choose to make within the next year or so. Hopefully by them turning this into a tv series it will allow them to cast more character actors for smaller roles to have a bigger impact on the story.

1. Matt Spicer

Director | Ingrid Goes West

Matt Spicer was born on June 10, 1984 in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a producer and director, known for Ingrid Goes West (2017), It's Not You It's Me (2013) and The Adventurer's Handbook.

Director- 1st Choice

I really love Ingrid Goes West because of how smart and how well written that film is. But the reason that film works so much is because of Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen being so damn good together. So, I most definitely believe that this director will bring the same type of to Max and Chloe just like he did with his own characters.

2. Carol Morley

Director | The Falling

Carol Morley was born in Manchester, England. She attended Central St Martins College of Art, where she graduated with a first class degree in fine art film and video. Her films include The Alcohol Years, a BAFTA nominated film about her scurrilous teenage past, Dreams of a Life, which went behind ...

Director- 2nd Choice

I am huge fan of her first film with The Falling. That has a great relationship between the two lead females which is very important for a this story. And she already worked with both Maisie Williams and Florence Pugh so I have no doubt she would be a great director for this project.

3. Bo Burnham

Writer | Eighth Grade

Bo Burnham was born on August 21, 1990 in Hamilton, Massachusetts, USA as Robert Burnham. He is an actor and writer, known for Eighth Grade (2018), The Big Sick (2017) and Bo Burnham: what. (2013).

Director- 3rd Choice

No one was as surprised as me to watch this man grow. I seriously thought Eighth Grade was going to be a gross out comedy made for little kids. Boy was I wrong. I love him and I love his first feature length film. Plus he made a hell of great female lead film and he can do it again.

4. Sam Levinson

Writer | The Wizard of Lies

Sam Levinson is a writer and producer, known for The Wizard of Lies (2017), Assassination Nation (2018) and Another Happy Day (2011).

Director- 4th Choice

5. Kiernan Shipka

Actress | Carriers

Kiernan Brennan Shipka is an American actress. She is known for playing Sally Draper on the AMC series Mad Men (2007), B. D. Hyman in the FX anthology series Feud: Bette and Joan (2017), and voicing Jinora in the Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005) spin-off, The Legend of Korra (2012). She stars as ...

Maxine Caulfield- 1st Choice

My first choice for Max and yes playing another character with supernatural abilities some people will feel she is playing Sabrina light. But she will absolutely crush it in this role. I love her and she has crushed it on Netflix's Sabrina which this list will feature a large group from people who have been associated with Netflix.

6. Sophie Thatcher

Actress | Prospect

Sophie Thatcher is an actress, known for Prospect (2018), The Exorcist (2016) and Chicago Med (2015).

Maxine Caulfield- 2nd Choice

Just recently saw her in Prospect and she is really good and I think she can handle the innocent and even the hero aspect that is needed for this character. I am still excited to see what else she has in store.

7. Maisie Williams

Actress | Game of Thrones

Margaret Constance "Maisie" Williams (born 15 April 1997) is an English actress. She made her professional acting debut as Arya Stark in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones, for which she won the EWwy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, the Portal Award for Best Supporting ...

Maxine Caulfield- 3rd Choice

I have no idea what is going ton with New Mutants and apparently neither does she. So she might have a great shot in this role but I feel with Arya Stark she might be done with the innocent and shy persona. So let her go off. But with Florence Pugh playing Chloe it would be a nice reunion for them.

8. Eloise Laurence

Actress | Broken

Eloise Laurence was born in November 1999 in Islington, North London, England as Eloise Alexandra Lamb. She is an actress and composer, known for Broken (2012), London Road (2015) and Live Until You Die (2017).

Maxine Caulfield- 5th Choice

Mainly because she is awesome in the 2012 film Broken. Which if you have not seen do yourself a favor and check that film out because it is a real emotional powerhouse. And give her a shot to play the title character because she is awesome and a really good actress.

9. Oona Laurence

Actress | Pete's Dragon

Oona Laurence (born August 1, 2002) is an American actress who is best known for originating the role of Matilda Wormwood in Matilda on Broadway alongside Bailey Ryon, Milly Shapiro, and Sophia Gennusa. She is a New York City-based child actress with credits in film, theatre, and television.

After ...

Maxine Caulfield- 4th Choice

She is a little younger than expected but again I do predict it is going to take a while for this movie to get pick up and get ready to start shooting. I seriously believe this will get turned into a tv show soon. And she would be a fantastic choice because she not only has the look of Max but also to dry wit and courage to pull off a strong character like this.

10. Emma Mackey

Actress | Sex Education

Born 4th January 1996 in Le Mans (France) to a British mother and a French father. She moved to the UK at the age of 17 to study English Language and Literature at the University of Leeds (2013-2016). After directing and appearing in various stage productions there, she started to pursue a career ...

Chloe Price- 2nd Choice

She is such a smartass in Sex Education and she will be great as Chloe. But Chloe is only as good as a Max. So that means that whoever they get as a Max hopefully she is as good as Chloe because their dynamic won't work.

11. Florence Pugh

Actress | The Falling

Florence Pugh is an English actress. She is known for The Falling (2014), her film debut, Lady Macbeth (2016), Outlaw King (2018), Fighting with My Family (2019), and Midsommar (2019).

Pugh also appear in the ITV detective series Marcella and starred in the AMC Mini-Series The Little Drummer Girl.

Chloe Price- 1st Choice

Without a doubt my first choice to play this character. Amazing flat out amazing in every thing she plays in. Hell get Miaise Williams to get A Falling reunion because that film and this film could have very similar story points. But I know she would be great in this role.

12. Haley Lu Richardson

Actress | Five Feet Apart

Haley Lu Richardson was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, as the only child of creative parents, Valerie (Valiquette), a graphic designer, and Forrest Richardson, a golf course architect. She attended Montessori school, where kids are encouraged to think outside the box and value self-motivation...

Kate Marsh- 1st Choice

Giving Haley Lu Richardson a role like this is risky because she has always been the upbeat happy go lucky character and we love her for that. But she has the perfect sad face and this would be a really good turning point for her to show some range. Which again be able to provide so much for this character that will evolve on the streaming service compared to a movie. She would be great.

13. Liv Hewson

Actress | Dramaworld

Liv Hewson is an Australian actor and playwright. Hewson uses they-and-them pronouns. Hewson was born in Canberra and grew up in the suburb of Hughes. They attended Alfred Deakin High School and Canberra College. They began acting as part of the Canberra Youth Theatre. Hewson's mother, Angela, is a...

Kate Marsh- 2nd Choice

Again Kate Marsh is not a happy character think Hannah Baker sad of a character. Which again why this show would belong on Netflix.

14. Ashley Benson

Actress | Spring Breakers

Ashley Victoria Benson was born on December 18, 1989 in Anaheim Hills, California, to Shannon (Harte) and Jeff Benson. She has Irish, English, and German ancestry. She has been dancing competitively since she was 2 with hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap and lyrical. She has been singing since she was ...

Rachel Amber- 1st Choice.

In a perfect world the potential tv show that I'm hoping Netflix they would make a 10 episode series they would incorporate both Life is Strange and Life is Strange Before the Storm. Which does have both more back story towards Chloe and Rachel. Which it can be used has a flashback method and seeing the relationship between the two.

15. Jessica Barden

Actress | Hanna

Jessica Barden is an English actress. She is best known for playing Alyssa in Channel 4 series The End of the F***ing World, and the film The Lobster (2015).

She also had small roles in Tamara Drewe (2010), Hanna (2011) and Far from the Madding Crowd (2015).

In 2016 she played Justine in Penny ...

Another Netflix alumina with TEOTFW and she would be great as the bully bitch. She would be fantastic.

16. Fionn Whitehead

Actor | Dunkirk

From a family of Londoners, Fionn Whitehead was born and raised in Richmond Upon Thames, Surrey (South west of England and also one of the home counties bordering Greater London). He is the son of Tim and Linda Whitehead, and has two sisters, Maisie and Hattie, and a younger brother, Sonny. Maisie,...

Warren Graham- 1st Choice

Incredible. He is awesome because he is flat out the most earnest character I have seen with two projects. Dunkirk and Bandersnatch is a great for him you really can't get better casting. Hell even if Max was a male my vote for Max would be this guy. But I want him to play the love interest for Max throughout the show and he would be incredible as the love interest who loves pop culture and again a nice change of pace for this guy but I think he could pull it off.

17. Logan Miller

Actor | Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse

Logan Miller was born on February 18, 1992 in Colorado, USA. He is an actor and editor, known for Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015), Love, Simon (2018) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009).

Evan- 1st Choice

He is a great actor who I really like him in a lot of films that he just kills. But I wouldn't mind seeing him being the villain as Nathan Prescott because that would allow him for more screen time. But he would be a great addition to this cast.

18. Miles Robbins

Actor | Blockers

Miles Robbins was born on May 4, 1992 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor, known for Blockers (2018), Halloween (2018) and The X-Files (1993).

Justine- 1st Choice

He would be great addition and to add more character if made into a tv show to flesh out Rachel Amber story to strength the character.

19. Robert Aramayo

Actor | Nocturnal Animals

Robert Aramayo is an actor, known for Nocturnal Animals (2016), Game of Thrones (2011) and Galveston (2018).

Nathan Prescott- 1st Choice.

After seeing him in this little movie called The Standoff at Sparrow Creek I knew he would be a great Nathan. He sorta has the look but the key word is subtle and he has that locked down. With his scenes with James Badge Dale in that film are incredible.

20. Hayden Szeto

Actor | The Edge of Seventeen

Hayden Szeto was born on September 11, 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as Hayden Chun Hay Szeto. He is known for his work on The Edge of Seventeen (2016), Truth or Dare (2018) and Lodge 49 (2018).

Gilchrist also starred in Dark Summer (2015), and The Good Neighbor (2016), alongside James Caan. His film ...

Nathan Prescott- 2nd Choice

Nathan can be dangerous but I also feel like this could be a huge revelation not for sympathy but as an understanding. Because what is reveled at the end of the story is something this guy has, it all lies in his face. Which I like all of these young actors which I believe that most of these young men can be switched because you have Warren, Nathan who are the most significant two. As the other jocks you don't need a huge star.

22. Awkwafina

Actress | Ocean's Eight

Awkwafina was born in New York City, New York, USA as Nora Lum. She is an actress and writer, known for Ocean's Eight (2018), Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and The Farewell (2019).

He attended Ohio State University studying Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering, but decided to drop out after one year after discovering he had no passion or interest in that field of study. ...

Luke- 2nd Choice

He already has his Netflix stamp so he would be nice in this cast. But he might be too old for this cast along with him being in too much. However he would be an awesome addition.

25. Danielle Macdonald

Actress | Patti Cake$

Danielle is an Australian actress who originally booked the role of Becca on the ABC family show Huge (2010), which she was unable to do after her visa came in too late. She later moved to Los Angeles where she first appeared in the short film for Glamour Reel Moments with Joel Edgerton and ...

Alyssa- 1st Choice

Love her. Patti Cake$ is awesome and this girl is on a role every since. Dumplin' is also amazing and she is really great in it too. I can not wait to see where her career goes and I would like her for this role but again it is not a huge role but I do want her to get more out of this role.

26. Beanie Feldstein

Actress | Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

Beanie Feldstein was born as Elizabeth Feldstein. She is an actress, known for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016).

Alyssa- 2nd Choice

She is flat out hilarious but Alyssa is not a total throwaway character but she could easily be a scene stealer and in all the right reasons.

27. Douglas Booth

Actor | Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Douglas John Booth is an English actor. Booth was born in London, England, the son of Vivien (De Cala), an artist, and Simon Booth, who works in shipping for Citigroup. He has appeared on English television as (Christopher and His Kind (2011), Great Expectations (2011)), starred in the film Romeo &...

Frank Bowers- 1st Choice.

I know people want Joel Kinnaman for this role but for me that is too much of a given. Plus he is way too much into everything. Suicide Squad, Hanna, hell another tv show about space. But Douglas Booth can play this role because we need someone who can steal Rachel away and I think both with this guy's look and acting he does have range to be Frank. Plus his age is the age range I want Frank to be.

28. Oscar Isaac

Actor | Ex Machina

Oscar Isaac was born Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada in Guatemala, to a Guatemalan mother, María Eugenia, and a Cuban father, Oscar Gonzalo Hernández-Cano, a pulmonologist. Oscar was raised in Miami, Florida. Before he became an actor, he played lead guitar and sang vocals in his band the Blinking ...

Mark Jefferson- 2nd Choice

Obviously the dude is extremely talented and there is no one with so much smoothness it will be pretty convincing to take a photo with this guy and I wouldn't mind seeing him play this character.

29. Robert Downey Jr.

Actor | Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr. has evolved into one of the most respected actors in Hollywood. With an amazing list of credits to his name, he has managed to stay new and fresh even after over four decades in the business.

Downey was born April 4, 1965 in Manhattan, New York, the son of writer, director and ...

Mark Jefferson- 1st Choice

It would be pretty cool to see him play this character and of course we know he has a side to him we haven't seen and he would kill it in the twist of the fifth episode. So I would be pretty excited to see him do something different.

30. Hugh Dancy

Actor | Hannibal

Talented British actor Hugh Dancy is one of the UK's most noted young talents.

Hugh Michael Horace Dancy was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, to Sarah Ann (Birley), who works in academic publishing, and Jonathan Peter Dancy, a philosophy professor and writer. He has a brother, Jack (b...

Mark Jefferson- 3rd Choice

Now this one will be probably the most buyable choice and for a studio to "afford" someone like him. But never underestimate this guy. He is awesome and he is a great actor.

31. Sterling K. Brown

Actor | Black Panther

Emmy Award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown stars in NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe nominated drama series THIS IS US. For his role as Randall Pearson, Brown won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, as well as a Golden Globe, becoming the first African American actor to win his ...

Principal Ray Wells- 1st Choice

A little too young for this choice because in the video game he does seem to be a little bit older with the wrinkles on his ace and how he carries himself as an older gentleman. Plus he is supposed to be less caring and Sterling K. Brown is fully charismatic in every way. But it would be nice to see him in this film.

32. Charlize Theron

Producer | Monster

Charlize Theron was born in Benoni, a city in the greater Johannesburg area, in South Africa, the only child of Gerda Theron (née Maritz) and Charles Theron. She was raised on a farm outside the city. Theron is of Afrikaner (Dutch, with some French Huguenot and German) descent, and Afrikaner ...

Joyce Price- 1st Choice

Nothing to go off of but Joyce could be the useless mom role. Unless a good writer and good director gets in there with multiple scenes because again the story is mainly Max and Chloe's story but as a tv adaptation they will add more to her character.

33. Linda Cardellini

Actress | Brokeback Mountain

Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She is of Italian (from her paternal grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish descent. Linda grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, California, the...

Joyce Price- 2nd Choice

Joyce Price is probably the saddest character on LIS because she loses her husband first then her daughter or she loses her husband and die without knowing her daughter could be alive, or even her husband lives and her daughter is a cripple and then she will lose her anyway. But I love to see more scenes with this character.

34. James Badge Dale

Actor | The Departed

James Badge Dale was born on May 1, 1978 in New York City, New York, USA as James Badgett Dale. He is an actor, known for The Departed (2006), World War Z (2013) and 13 Hours (2016).

David Madsen- 1st Choice

He is a flawed character and James Badge Dale I know will do a kick ass job in this grey area zone of a character and knowing him with his background of playing both the good guy and bad guy he would kill it.

35. Karl Urban

Actor | Star Trek

Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Karl Urban now lives in Auckland. Born on June 7, 1972, he is the son of a leather-goods manufacturer (who had hoped that Karl would follow in his footsteps). His first acting role was when he was 8 -- he had a line on a television series. However, he did ...

David Madsen- 2nd Choice

Karl Urban is great and he is fantastic in everything he has been apart in. So He would be great as David among interacting with either Charlize or Linda as Joyce.

36. Laura Marano

Actress | The Perfect Date

Laura Marano started acting in the theatre when she was five years old. She has done numerous plays at the Agoura Children's Theatre, and continued her acting in many national commercials.
