Director: Michael Curtiz | Stars: Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, Aldo Ray, Joan Bennett

Votes: 7,378

Don't hold the terrible remake from DeNiro-Penn against it. This movie is funny, dark, & surprisingly heartwarming. Great Christmas film also. Please seek this out.

2. Casual Sex? (1988)

Director: Geneviève Robert | Stars: Lea Thompson, Victoria Jackson, Stephen Shellen, Jerry Levine

Votes: 3,561 | Gross: $12.28M

Lea Thompson at her hottest. Victoria Jackson at her cutiest. Even Andrew "Dice" Clay does a great job. Funny and a great statement of the sexual tension of the late eighties.

Votes: 7,324 | Gross: $20.28M

Missing "24" like me? This is easily Kiefer Sutherland's best film. It's funny without ever being slapsticky. The pairing with Woody Harrelson is inspired & the friendship between the two feels authentic. Fun movie with great action. What more could you ask for?

4. The Losers (I) (2010)

Votes: 85,994 | Gross: $23.58M

This movie didn't get it's due. It was out-budgeted by "The A Team" remake. Funny how this movie's cast was better, the storyline less forced, and it simply was a better film all around. It's on cable. Make sure you catch it.

During a fictional series of Big Brother, a zombie outbreak occurs, but the house-mates are unaware of the impending doom outside of the Big Brother House.

Votes: 17,156

Ever watch that piece of crap "Big Brother" show & wish someone would walk in that house with a gun? This BBC miniseries did also...they just sent flesh-eating zombies instead. Equally exciting, creepy, gross, & funny. Hard to find in the US. Worth seeking out!

Votes: 15,728 | Gross: $9.75M

God, I love this movie. And, overall in a spectrum, I HATE SCI-FI FILMS!! This one was different. Cool storyline told with a small budget, but with a big imagination. Kyle Maclaughlin is AWESOME. Oh...one more thing...Stripper with a shotgun...AWESOME!!!!

7. Freeway (1996)

R | 102 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama

61 Metascore

A twisted take on "Little Red Riding Hood", with a teenage juvenile delinquent on the run from a social worker travelling to her grandmother's house and being hounded by a charming, but sadistic, serial killer and pedophile.

Director: Matthew Bright | Stars: Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, Bokeem Woodbine, Paul Perri

Votes: 25,021 | Gross: $0.30M

This isn't "Walk The Line" Reese Witherspoon, but she is just as compelling. This modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, with a particularly twisted Kiefer Sutherland as the "Big Bad Wolf", is a white-trash fairytale told with a biting wit. Great f-ing movie!

8. My Bodyguard (1980)

I grew up with this movie. Really a great movie to watch now with all the "Bully" hysteria going on these days. Well made with winning actors & a GREAT ending. Fantastic supporting performance by Ruth Gordon.

Director: Eli Craig | Stars: Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, Katrina Bowden, Jesse Moss

Votes: 156,224 | Gross: $0.22M

This movie really snuck up on me. I liked the story line that showed a horror film from the side of the scary hillbillies that are "terrorizing" the "innocent" college kids. I thought that sounded cool. What I found was a VERY funny movies with legitimate horror scares. Check it out. It's both smart & silly.

Votes: 52,077

No one was happier than I was when they announced that this outstanding show had finally gotten the Emmy nomination for best drama it richly deserved. I hope it causes people to seek it out. It's not a "football" show. It is a family & community drama...and they don't get much better. Make sure you watch it from the beginning. You won't be disappointed.

Slasher flick combined with stoner comedy. Good horror mixed with a funny script and lots of pot material. Seth Green is great in a supporting role.

Votes: 13,033 | Gross: $23.60M

The film that introduced the masses to Michael Keaton. Funny grown-up humor back when Ron Howard didn't take himself so seriously. Look for a young Kevin Cosner as an extra in the fraternity.

Five Vermont state troopers, avid pranksters with a knack for screwing up, try to save their jobs and out-do the local police department by solving a crime.

Broken Lizard is a great comedy troop & this is a funny-ass movie. I highly recommend it...& it pays to be "medicated" when you see it!

A very sweet & big hearted love story that will stick with you long after you watch it. Robert Downey Jr. does his usual fantastic job of acting. Elizabeth Shue is typically beautiful.

Easily one of the best comedic casts on TV right now. With the same documentary style as "The Office", it deals with the parks & rec department in a small town. Amy Prohler is perfect as a right-minded goverment worker. Finally getting the attention it deserves.
