2. The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019)
TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy, Romance
A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory.
One of the funniest shows ever with the best characters! People who don't find this show funny either have no sense of humor or aren't intelligent enough to get the jokes.
3. Big Brother (II) (2000– )
TV-14 | 44 min | Game-Show, Reality-TV
Contestants must compete against each other for a chance to win $500,000 in a house wired with cameras and microphones, capturing their every move for a TV and Internet audience.
People trapped in a house with no outside contact to compete for things & money? It's bound to get crazy!
5. Breaking Bad (2008–2013)
TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller
A high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in order to secure his family's future.
This show makes Weeds look like child's play. The writers don't make everything work out all the time. There are consequences. The science chemistry part is great for edgy geeks too.
6. Departures (2008– )
46 min | Documentary
Aimed at the adventure seeker, Departures is an action-packed and personal journey about two travelers. Scott Wilson and Justin Lukach leave their lives behind in search of unique ... See full summary »
7. Dexter (2006–2013)
TV-MA | 53 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
By day, mild-mannered Dexter is a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police. But at night, he is a serial killer who only targets other murderers.
A show about a serial killer with a code of ethics? How cool is that? Only show where the writers can kill off a character without that being the easy way out.
8. Dollhouse (2009–2010)
TV-14 | 44 min | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
A futuristic laboratory has erased the identities of lost young people, and now imprints them with the temporary identities they need to fulfill assignments for clients.
Kind of a mind bender that was unfortunately canceled :(
12. Game of Thrones (2011–2019)

Nine noble families fight for control over the mythical lands of Westeros, while an ancient enemy returns after being dormant for thousands of years.
13. Glee (2009–2015)
TV-PG | 44 min | Comedy, Drama, Music
A group of ambitious misfits try to escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club.
I love music... I love Glee! Doesn't hurt that there is some major eye candy
15. Grey's Anatomy (2005– )
TV-14 | 41 min | Drama, Romance
A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.
This show's changed a lot. Characters come and go. I miss Izzie but at least Cristina's still around.
16. Heartland (II) (2007– )
TV-PG | 45 min | Drama, Family
A multi-generational saga set in Alberta, Canada and centered on a family getting through life together in both happy and trying times.
Great scenery backdrop. I absolutely love horses (animals in general). Great relationships. This was a surprising favorite but I knew when I saw the opening credits for the first time I was going to like this one.
17. Heroes (II) (2006–2010)
TV-14 | 45 min | Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi
Common people discover that they have super powers. Their lives intertwine as a devastating event must be prevented.
Special super powers? Awesome! The first few seasons were phenomenal but I think the personal lives of some main characters dragged the show down after a while.
18. Mad Men (2007–2015)
TV-14 | 47 min | Drama
A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper.
20. Nip/Tuck (2003–2010)
TV-MA | 44 min | Drama
The dark and twisted trials of two plastic surgeons.
So over the top! Not to mention SEX SEX SEX
21. Queer as Folk (2000–2005)
TV-MA | 47 min | Drama, Romance
The lives and loves of a group of gay friends living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Might be my all time favorite show. Brian Kinney is my hero. I don't care if he's gay or not. He knows who he is & what he wants & that confidence is amazingly sexy.
22. Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2007–2011)
TV-MA | 30 min | Drama
Based on the popular diary of the anonymous sex worker known only as Belle de Jour.
The situations she gets into... priceless. This show is sexy, not slutty.
24. Skins (2007–2013)
TV-MA | 46 min | Drama
The story of a group of British teens who are trying to grow up and find love and happiness despite questionable parenting and teachers who more want to be friends (and lovers) rather than authority figures.

It amazes me how talented people can be. When dance/art can bring you to tears you know you have something special
26. Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014)
TV-MA | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller
A biker struggles to balance being a father and being involved in an outlaw motorcycle club.
This show is just badass. Supper hottie Charlie Hunnam sure has come a long way from playing Nathan in the UK Queer as Folk.
27. Spartacus (2010–2013)
TV-MA | 55 min | Action, Adventure, Biography
The life of Spartacus, the gladiator who lead a rebellion against the Romans. From his time as an ally of the Romans, to his betrayal and becoming a gladiator, to the rebellion he leads and its ultimate outcome.
The Blood and Sand season 1 was sooo good! RIP Andy Whitfield :(
28. True Blood (2008–2014)
TV-MA | 55 min | Drama, Fantasy, Mystery
Telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse encounters a strange new supernatural world when she meets the mysterious Bill, a southern Louisiana gentleman and vampire.
I can't think of anything I don't like about this show. Yes, the cast is mostly unfairly hot, but there are still "real" people too. They're decently loyal to the books! I can't wait to see how they interpret the books & who they choose to play certain characters. I'm so ready or more Eric action & I can't wait to see who'll play Quinn.
29. Ugly Betty (2006–2010)
TV-PG | 60 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance
Smart but wholesome Betty embraces her unique appearance and independent attitude in the cutthroat world of New York fashion.
Great underdog story. Amazing fashion.
30. Weeds (2005–2012)
TV-MA | 28 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama
When a suburban mother turns to dealing marijuana in order to maintain her privileged lifestyle after her husband dies, she finds out just how addicted her entire neighborhood already is.
The 1st & 2nd season were the best but there are good moments throughout. It amazed me how the writers can always get Nancy out of trouble.
31. Wonderfalls (2004)
