This show is not going to work. The only likable person in this is the mother but she is not the central focus. What we have is television about a gifted child that comes from a typical Texas family.
Sheldon Cooper is a character we got to know on "The Big Bang Theory". He wasn't obnoxious at first but the slowly grew to realize that Sheldon was an OCD control freak. In this show Sheldon is a little jerk. He is rude. He needs a swat on the butt.
I don't see where this show can sustain an audience. The kid is fine but the story is cold and distant.
Watching another episode is not worth my time!
