Chris Evans Has Crazy Idea for a Human Torch / Captain America Crossover

Chris Evans Has Crazy Idea for a Human Torch / Captain America Crossover
Ever thought about a Captain America and Human Torch movie starring two different versions of Chris Evans? You're not the only one because, as it turns out, Chris Evans has a pitch for just such a movie. With all of this recent talk of Disney possibly purchasing Fox, The Captain America: Civil War and Fantastic Four star sees an opportunity to double up on his superhero roles in the same movie. Here's what he had to say about it on Twitter recently.

"So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off? I'm thinking Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Parent Trap."

Long before Chris Evans took up the mantle of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he played Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, in the Tim Story Fantastic Four movies for Fox. To say the least, the movies aren't great and they certainly don't hold

T’Challa Stands Tall On New Black Panther Poster

Although pretty much everybody and their mother is frothing at the mouth waiting to see Avengers: Infinity War – and rightfully so – it’s important we not forget that Marvel Studios have one more stop on the road before arriving at the next big team-up flick. We are, of course, talking about Black Panther.

Admittedly, it’s quite easy to get swept up in the hype surrounding Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ next grand adventure, but I have good reason to look forward to the King of Wakanda’s solo cinematic debut more than most other Marvel films to be released over the course of the next two years.

McU Architect Kevin Feige Reportedly Keen To Cross-Pollinate Fox/Marvel Characters

News of the potential Disney/Fox deal has reached Marvel Towers, and Kevin Feige is reportedly keen to cross-pollinate “the rich swarm” of Fox characters with his existing Marvel heroes.

Of course, Feige was likely well aware of Disney’s ongoing pursuit of 21st Century Fox and its entertainment assets long before the news became official, but a new report from Deadline now claims that the McU architect is “eager to get his hands on the X-Men universe.” Hardly surprising, really, considering the sheer amount of success (and box office revenue!) that Feige and Co. enjoyed by incorporating Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Via Deadline:

He’s said to be eager to get his hands on the X-Men universe — Fox has Deadpool 2, New Mutants, Dark Phoenix, Gambit, X-Force and the James Franco-starrer Multiple Man all on the assembly line — and cross-pollinate the rich swarm of characters with the

Team Cap To Become The Secret Avengers In Infinity War?

Our first look at Avengers: Infinity War arrived a week ago now, but it’s stuffed full of so many exciting, thrilling moments that fans are still unpacking it for new information about the much anticipated Marvel movie event. On top of teases of Loki’s storyline, several deaths and Thanos’ motivations, something else that may be hidden in the teaser is a hint at a new off-shoot of the main Avengers team.

As fans will remember, Captain America: Civil War saw Steve Rogers free his friends from the Raft underwater prison, with the promise that the heroes would lie low as fugitives. In the trailer for Infinity War, we got a glimpse at how Team Cap have stayed out of the limelight, with Steve now rocking a beard and operating as Nomad and Black Widow going blonde to remain incognito. However, when Thanos attacks Earth, Team Cap will come

Every 2017 Superhero Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

2016 was widely labelled as the biggest year yet for the superhero movie genre, as it featured massive game-changers like Captain America: Civil War, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Deadpool. A look back at the comic book film offerings of 2017, though, will show you it’s clear that this year has arguably been even bigger and more impactful.

For starters, the Marvel Cinematic Universe made its first steps into releasing a whole three movies per year – which thankfully brought terrific results in each case. Meanwhile, the DC Extended Universe shifted into the next gear, with its long-awaited team-up movie and its first true success story. The X-Men universe also delivered, giving us not just one of its strongest installments to date, but perhaps one of the finest efforts in the genre.

Overall, out of the eight superhero films that arrived in cinemas in 2017, all of them were enjoyable in their own ways.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be Marvel’s first romantic comedy

Marvel Studios has made a conscious effort to vary its superhero movies, dipping its toes into the genres of political thriller (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), space opera (Guardians of the Galaxy) and high school coming-of-age comedy (Spider-Man: Homecoming).

The first Ant-Man was billed as a heist movie, and now it seems that Marvel and director Peyton Reed are shifting gears for the upcoming sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp with the studio’s first romantic comedy.

According to Kinometro, a presentation was held by Marvel at the Kinorynok event in Russia, which included a new trailer for Black Panther, as well as a promo video for Ant-Man and the Wasp. And it was during the latter where the project was introduced as “the first rom-com from Marvel”.

Ant-Man 2 Is Marvel's First Romantic Comedy

Ant-Man 2 Is Marvel's First Romantic Comedy
Marvel movies, whether from Sony or Disney, have taken on different types of genres when making their movies. Spider-Man: Homecoming is loosely based off of a 1980s John Hughes movie, Captain America: Civil War took inspiration from spy movies, and the upcoming Infinity War has been compared to a heist movie. And now, it looks like Ant-Man and the Wasp could be Marvel's first romantic comedy, which will sit well with some fans and more than likely alienate others. It's hard to please everybody, but a Marvel rom-com has to be better than a normal one, right?

A new report out of the Russian entertainment market seems to give us a hint about the genre of Peyton Reed's Ant-Man 2, noting that it will be Marvel's "first rom-com." The news was released at the Kinorynok event in Russia and it's hard to make out the rest of the translation,

Infinity War Has a Crazy Arrested Development Easter Egg

Infinity War Has a Crazy Arrested Development Easter Egg
The love for the cult TV series Arrested Development runs deep, and Avengers: Infinity War directors the Russo Brothers have a pretty special relationship with the show. The brothers directed the very first episode of Arrested Development with Anthony Russo directing four more episodes and Joe Russo directing an additional nine episodes. As it turns out, the duo has been peppering the McU with some Arrested Development spices, starting with Captain America: Civil War and now there's a new reference to the show in the upcoming, highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.

Late last week, images and unfinished footage from Infinity War were leaked on to the web as a threat to Marvel to release the long-awaited trailer. Many assumed that the footage was all from the then upcoming trailer, but that is not the case as only a few of the shots ended up in the finished clip. Many were
