Oh, I come from Lothal from the faraway place....
27 March 2017 | by See all my reviews

You know I really like these classical..better to say magical) Disney musicals) They have this... spark and smartness and a story too)

So, certainly when Disney starts to make (actually - distribute) Star Wars series... one classic somehow meets another) Weird..and funny same time)

Meet Ezra...Or I meant - Alladin?)) Hard to choose)) Both orphans both from the desert, both thieves both have this smart and cheeky attitude...no.. I really can't tell one from another

Jasmine is somehow divided.. Kindness of Hera meets mischievous, artistic and bright nature of Mandalorian best girl)) Sabine ) Both are very sexy though)

And Kanan)) Does anyone remember this boastful creature from the Beauty and the Beast named Gaston?) The face looks almost the same) And Jafar)) well he's here too and serves the Empire))

Well....and what about the show? Good thing about the show is color and animation - bright, luscious, almost inspiring and rich palette and finally ... beautifully animated characters and Disney style movements and expressions. Also the music.. lots of cameos ..I mean great lots of cameos from all the Star Wars Universe...

The drawback is a a lip service to school kids... The target audience is too firmly placed... almost a cliché... It is not comfortable to watch for many times and for many reasons. First, because kids actually prefer more serious movies and secondly.. sometimes it looks just too artificial like a clown in a circus...

Still it looks nice and pleases the eye...

Disney..you say...how so?! It is Lucasfilm Animation.I know I know..but seems like this time Lucasfilm went a-disneying)
