Three decades after the Empire's defeat, a new threat arises in the militant First Order. Stormtrooper defector Finn and spare parts scavenger Rey are caught up in the Resistance's search for the missing Luke Skywalker.
After a daring mission to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the rebels dispatch to Endor to destroy a more powerful Death Star. Meanwhile, Luke struggles to help Vader back from the dark side without falling into the Emperor's trap.
Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee, and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle-station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader.
After the rebels are overpowered by the Empire on their newly established base, Luke Skywalker begins Jedi training with Master Yoda. His friends accept shelter from a questionable ally as Darth Vader hunts them in a plan to capture Luke.
Three years into the Clone Wars, the Jedi rescue Palpatine from Count Dooku. As Obi-Wan pursues a new threat, Anakin acts as a double agent between the Jedi Council and Palpatine and is lured into a sinister plan to rule the galaxy.
Ten years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé, while Obi-Wan investigates an assassination attempt on the Senator and discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi.
30 years after the defeat of Darth Vader and the Empire, Rey, a scavenger from the planet Jakku, finds a BB-8 droid that knows the whereabouts of the long lost Luke Skywalker. Rey, as well as a rogue stormtrooper and two smugglers, are thrown into the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the daunting legions of the First Order. Written by
When Rey explains to Han Solo that she stole the Millennium Falcon from Unkar Plutt (who stole it from the Irving Boys, who stole it from Ducain), Han notes that Ducain stole it from him. Apparently, he forgets to mention that the ship originally belonged to his friend Lando Calrissian who gambled it to Han in a game and lost - only to get it back upon being tasked by the Rebel Forces to lead the Battle for Endor ("Return Of The Jedi" (1983)). As a result, it's unclear how Han got the Falcon back after those events. See more »
Lor San Tekka:
This will begin to make things right. I've traveled too far and seen too much to ignore the despair in the galaxy. Without the Jedi, there can be no balance in the Force.
Well, because of you, now we have a chance. The General's been after this for a long time.
Lor San Tekka:
Oh, the General? To me, she is royalty.
Well, she certainly is that.

Sorry to say, but this was the worst of all the Star Wars movies.
What else can I say, FabledGentleman said it best and there is nothing else to add. This movie was the biggest letdown and I am sad that I spent money to be disappointed. The story was terrible with little to no thought devoted to the script. The story line was the same old story, revived from episode 4. No indication as to what happened over the last 30 years. No background info on the characters or who they are. The whole movie seemed to be rushed to the big screen for the sole purpose of making money. I'm sorry, but this is the Star Wars story, it deserves to be one of the best story lines brought to the big screen. Anyone who is connected to this story, needs to bring they "A" game. I really hope the next attempt, encompasses all the Star Wars has become.
