The original release date for this movie was November 4, 2016. It was later moved to January 27, 2017. Less than a month before its release, Warner Bros. pushed it back once again to December 22, 2017.
Paramount Pictures was originally attactched to the project, but they ended up dropping out, sending the script into turnaround and leaving Warner Bros. to release the film.
