A film with a great concept that gets lost in translation from its poor execution and convoluted plot.
What was Alexander Payne on when he wrote this? This film had so much potential had it chosen a genre or theme and stuck to it... any of the possible 3+ mis-mashed themes. What's worse is fooling the viewers with the movie trailer that was way off the final result, that by the end you felt you were watching a cult-following type movie instead of a fun sci-fi comedy the trailer portrayed.
The cast was great, although I felt it was a waste of talent. The cinematography/vfx, editing and directing was very good.
Would I see it again or recommend it? Heck no. 5/10 from me.
