Storyline

Tony Stark had it all: a genius mind, fame, and even multinational corporation. But his life would soon change forever. During a routine weapons test in the Middle East, power-hungry militants led a violent ambush against Tony and claimed him as their prisoner. Armed with Stark Industries weaponry, Tony's new foes demanded he construct a new ultimate weapon for them. Instead, with the help of fellow captive Yinsen, Tony built his own ultimate weapon -- a powerful suit of armor that served as the key to his heroic escape.

After returning home, Tony's near-death experience drastically altered his outlook on life. The attack against Tony -- with his own creations, no less -- inspired him to cease production of all Stark Industries weapons, despite Stane. And that wasn't all. Aided by his charming assistant, Pepper Potts, and equipped with a new suit even more advanced than the one used in his escape, Tony took it upon himself to destroy Stark weapons in enemy hands -- personally. He ...

Robert Downey Jr. reprised his role as Tony Stark for this game. However, a different actor, Stephen Stanton, voiced Iron Man. The reason behind why two different actors portrayed the same character (his superhero persona and his alter ego) is unknown. See more »

Quotes

Tony Stark: I'm not the problem here. It's the Maggia! They're the ones supplying criminals with weapons.
Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes: No! The problem, Tony, is you're fighting a war! And you're not a soldier!
Tony Stark: You're damn right I'm not! I'm an army! And I don't care how rich Maggia made me. I'm gonna bury them!

For a movie-based game this is very good
6 February 2012 | by See all my reviews

Granted I think out of all of Marvel's games I think the best one is THE PUNISHER that one is worth a very good rating because it tries to go outside the EXACT SAME BASIS as the movie where this does have levels that follow the movie (but not accuracte) and has a few missions with nothing to do with the movie's plot - more about Stark destroying all his weapons.

The gameplay here is the strongest point - you can focus your power all on one of three choices - you can focus on your flight - your armor or your weaponry or just focus on all of them (not really as good as one of them individually) In some levels you would want to focus on your flight being your strong point (eg, Save Pepper, The Islands (whatever that mission with Bruno Horgan - It's been a while since I played this) or your armor (eg, The last one where you fight Iron Monger) In my opinion there have been better games, this one will have you liking it for what it is - in my opinion play The Punisher if you haven't played it yet - that game is much more worthwhie than this but this was also good - This and The Incredible Hulk are the best games aside from The Punisher so far (I haven't played all of them - I prefer games like Max Payne) and this is decent as far as games go (it's better than Big Rigs Over The Road Racing, to list my least fav game EVER).
