Fifty Shades Freed” drew 92,000 new conversations last week. A new trailer released on Jan. 2 revealed in the final five seconds that Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele is pregnant. The pregnancy announcement isn’t news to those who read the final installment of E.L. James’ erotic trilogy, published in 2012, but it had not been hinted at in the two previous films, “[link

If you've ever wanted to watch Gabrielle Union channel her inner John McLane and pick off bad guys one-by-one, boy do we have a treat for you today. Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Breaking In, the new thriller from V for Vendetta director James McTeigue and Non-Stop writer Ryan Engle and let me just say it is very much my shit. ‘Breaking In’ Trailer: Payback Is A Mother In This Reverse ‘Panic Room’

In David Fincher‘s underrated 2002 thriller, Jodie Foster defends her home and protects her daughter (Kristen Stewart), from a bunch of thugs (led by Jared Leto) who are trying to break in and steal something secret contained within the walls of the house. The upcoming “Breaking In” turns that premise inside out.

Starring Gabrielle Union, Billy Burke, Richard Cabral, Seth Carr, and Ajiona Alexus, and directed by James McTeigue (“V For Vendetta,” “Ninja Assassin“), the story follows a woman who has to break into an impenetrable fortress of a house, after her two kids are taken hostage.

First Trailer for James McTeigue's Home Invasion Thriller 'Breaking In'

"I will do anything to protect my kids." Holy smokes, this looks awesome! Universal has debuted the first official trailer for a home invasion thriller titled Breaking In, which kind of twists the old home invasion concept just a bit. Gabrielle Union stars as a woman who moves with her children to her father's old home which features very high tech security. When intruders break in and lock her out, she must figure out how to break back in and rescue her kids, stopping at nothing to get back at these invaders. This is, crazy enough, the next movie from V for Vendetta director James McTeigue. The film's full cast includes Billy Burke, Richard Cabral, Seth Carr, Levi Meaden, and Ajiona Alexus. This seriously looks badass, and I am glad it has some twists on the unusual home invasion plot. I'm definitely in. This May, payback is a mother. Here's

3.8 Crisis On Earth X Part 1

We were promised a more serialised crossover this year, and Crisis on Earth X Part 1 delivers on that front. In past crossovers, there was a clear 'home court advantage' so to speak. That is to say, while the characters concerned with the main action appeared throughout the crossover, each episode generally took on the characteristics of the show the time slot belonged to. There were also usually side characters who only got to participate when their show's episode brought the action into their orbit, whether physically or otherwise.

If Crisis on Earth X were to follow that model, Barry and Iris' wedding would likely have had to

HBO's Trailer for Kit Harington's Miniseries Gunpowder Tells The Story of Guy Fawkes

HBO has released an intense trailer for their upcoming three-part miniseries called Gunpowder, which tells the story of British activist Guy Fawkes. The series follows Fawkes and his team of provincial English Catholics as they plan to blow up the House of Lords and kill King James I in the early 17th century.

This miniseries looks really good and it has a solid cast that includes Kit Harington, Peter Mullan, Mark Gatiss, Derek Riddell and Liv Tyler.

Even though Guy Fawkes has become the main name associated with the Gunpowder plot, thanks to V for Vendetta, he actually played a minor role in it. The main guy who led the charge was Robert Catesby, and that is who Harington is playing. For some additional information on the Gunpowder treason plot Wikipedia says:

The Gunpowder Plot of 1605, in earlier centuries often called the Gunpowder Treason Plot or the Jesuit Treason, was

Netflix is Developing a Series That Explores What Would Happen if Christ Showed Up in the Modern Day World

Netflix is developing a new series called Messiah, which tells a story of Jesus Christ and what it would be like if he showed up in the modern day world. It's certainly an interesting concept. It will explore how society would react to a person who mysteriously appears in the Middle East claiming to be the Messiah and savior of the world.

The 10-episode series is described as a “suspenseful drama exploring the lines among religion, faith and politics", and this is the synopsis that was released:

Messiah will chronicle the modern world’s reaction to a man who first appears in the Middle East creating a groundswell of followers around him claiming he is the Messiah. Is he sent from God or is he a dangerous fraud bent on dismantling the world’s geopolitical order? In ten hour-long episodes, the story unfolds from multiple points of view, including a young CIA agent,

Messiah: Netflix orders new faith-based series

David Crow Kirsten Howard Nov 17, 2017

At Netflix, Messiah will chronicle the world's reaction to a man thousands call "the Messiah" emerging from the Middle East...

The Word of God is good. It is also very lucrative. Ever since the days of silent films, the Bible has been big business in Hollywood. And as we travel ever further into 'peak television’s' new era of streaming, that one constant remains. However, the officially greenlit series Messiah, at least on its premise, promises to be a challenging new take on faith-based content.

First announced as in-development last spring, Netflix officially ordered a 10-episode series of Messiah yesterday, which is likely to be a controversial and highly publicised series when it eventually drops. Created by Michael Petroni, who has developed the project with producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, the series looks to provocatively consider the emergence (or reemergence?) of a figure claiming
