Neo and the rebel leaders estimate that they have 72 hours until 250,000 probes discover Zion and destroy it and its inhabitants. During this, Neo must decide how he can save Trinity from a dark fate in his dreams.
John Constantine is approached by Det. Angela Dodson who needs his help to prove that her twin sister Isabel's death was not a suicide. The dead woman was a devout Catholic and Angela refuses to accept she would have taken her own life. She's asked Constantine for help because he has a reputation for dealing with the mystical. In fact, he is a demon hunter whose sole purpose on Earth is to send demons back to the nether regions. John himself has been to Hell and knows that he is destined to return there on his death - but hopes his good deeds may find him a place in Heaven. As he looks into Isabel's death, he realizes demons are trying to break through to the human world, and his battles lead him into a direct conflict with Satan. Written by
Near the end, when Kramer is proceeding to place the blessed cross into the emergency sprinkler system, he shoots a hole into a section of the top of the tank. Firstly, it is highly unlikely he would be able to blast a perfect circular hole into a (steel?) water tank meant to supply a building's fire sprinkler system with a shotgun, even with magnum buckshot or special blessed rounds. Secondly, if he was able to, the diameter of the hole Kramer actually makes is nowhere near wide enough for the cross to fit, no matter how he manipulates it. Hence, the camera simply cuts away to the cross dropping into the tank. See more »
Constantine is one more of those movies that are adapted from a comic series. Now, people in comics' stories often seem pretty wild in the eyes of watchers or readers. Just think of Batman. Isn't Gotham City crazy? Constantine, I think, is a most excellent picturisation of the comic stories. It is full packed with action, the story is quite entertaining, there is wit, the actors are amazing, the way of filming is great. Just watch these pictures and camera stills. Beautiful! Constantie is worth going to a movie theater. The pictures may blow you away. It is stunning.
Go and watch it, make your own point of view. "My name is Constantine. Joe Constantine. ***"
