Interesting action thriller full of twists and turns.

This interesting and fairly gripping action thriller would have you believe that it is a Pam Grier movie a la JACKIE BROWN or some kind of neo "blaxploitation" tale.It is not,it is first and foremost a Gary Daniels movie.If you don't recognize his name then you should.Gary Daniels is the star of a number of impressive martial arts movies that have appeared on video over the last few years and in looks,fighting skills and acting ability he is up there with the best in the genre.What makes NO TOMORROW different is the fact that Gary does not fight at all in this movie,in fact the character he plays is something of an enigma although he is a hero figure,albeit an unusual one,well written and well played. There are lots of twists and turns throughout this story of a man who becomes involved(perhaps unwittingly) in a power struggle amongst vicious gangsters who include Gary Busey;there are serviceable supporting performances from the likes of Jeff Fahey and rapper Master P (the director no less!)but it is Gary Daniels you watch and if you wonder after seeing this movie why this man is not a major star yet you will not be alone.More and more people are asking the same question.His time must be approaching.
