• Continuity: The Joe's muffler turns around his left shoulder, between shots, when Zack puts the money bag on the fallen stagecoach.
  
  
• Continuity: When Joe leaves with the money bag, Zack waves to him. Then the big rock on the left side of the screen has a branch in front of it but no shadow at all. Zack lights a cigar and turns around the stagecoach and the big rock is a different one, with shadow and no branch any more.
  
  
• Continuity: When Zack shoots Joe on horseback, the landscape behind Joe changes from one shot to another. Joe also falls with no gun in his hands. Next shot, while he rolls on the ground, the gun appears in his right hand.
  
  

• Continuity: After his horse is shot, Joe walks toward Zack and the same big rock which appeared before, with a branch in front of it, reappears between cuts.
  
  
• Continuity: The organ that the old lady plays for the children is set on the top of a staircase. But in some close-up shots the ground is right behind her.
  
  
• Continuity: Before he picks up Joe's "wanted" poster, Burden changes the cane to his left hand, and the cane repeatedly switches hands in subsequent shots.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matson appears in the mezzanine, behind the candelabrum, he has the arms by his sides. In the following shot his right arm is folded arising the gun.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matson falls from the mezzanine, his hat rolls away from his head. After the hat appears held around his neck.
  
  
• Continuity: After he gets shot and falls from the mezzanine, Matson is turned to his right side. Next shot he is on back.
  
  
• Continuity: When Joe goes up to the bar with Zack and asks for brandy, his left hand is around the hat on the counter with his right hand touching his lips. In the subsequent shot both hands are in different positions.
  
  
• Continuity: Joe falls into the river with a lit cigar in the mouth. When he comes out the cigar is still lit.
  
  
• Continuity: Inside the boat, when Joe is talking with Maxine and drinking, the cup he uses changes hand from one shot to another.
  
  
• Personale o equipaggiamento visibile: After the stagecoach wreck in the desert, as one of the principles is speaking to the others, in what should be a pristine desert background, a passing car is briefly visible at center screen left.
