Gorgeous New Ant-Man And The Wasp Posters Fly Online

Of the 2018 slate of McU movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp is receiving comparatively little attention to its companions. This isn’t really surprising, though, as Black Panther explores a fresh and exciting corner of the McU and properly introduces us to Chadwick Boseman’s cool-as-hell looking hero, and Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of nearly ten years of interlinked storytelling and looks to be the most maximalist superhero jamboree of all-time.

By comparison, the Ant-Man sequel follows on from one of Marvel Studios’ lowest grossing movies and right now, it’s difficult to tell what the film’s unique selling point will be. That being said, there are still many reasons to be excited for the project, one of which is seeing the titular double act working together. In fact, speaking in a recent interview, Paul Rudd touched on that exact thing, emphasizing that Ant-Man and the Wasp are

Marvel Reportedly Hoping For Wonder Woman-Sized Hit With Black Widow; ScarJo Poised For Huge Payday

Marvel is aiming high with its recently-confirmed Black Widow movie.

How high, you ask? Think Wonder Woman-levels of success, as a new report from the Daily Mail (!) claims Marvel and Disney have agreed to a $25 million deal that will see Scarlett Johansson take charge as Natalia Alianovna Romanoff.

The Daily Mail’s reputation is spotty at best, so we wouldn’t take these allegations as gospel. Still, it’s not too difficult to imagine a scenario in which the Powers That Be tabled a huge, record-setting offer to secure ScarJo, as she’s currently one of the biggest stars on the planet. In fact, should this report hold true, she’ll become Hollywood’s highest-paid actress thanks to Black Widow.

Men in Black Spin-Off Gets New Summer 2019 Release Date

Sony Pictures is still moving forward with its Men in Black spin-off, but now fans should expect it a month later than originally planned. Sony has pushed up the Mib spin-off from its original May 17, 2019 release date, to June 14, 2019. If it would have stayed put on May 17, the movie would have gone up against John Wick Chapter 3, but now that Lionsgate action sequel has the date all to itself, although that will surely change over the next year and a half. As of now, the movie will face Warner Bros. Shaft sequel.

There was no rationale given for the release date shift, especially since John Wick Chapter 3 had been set on that date a full two weeks before Sony decided to put Men in Black 4 on that date. It's entirely possible that the studio was really trying to get out of the way of Marvel's Avengers 4, which brings Marvel's

‘Men In Black’ Spinoff Gets Summer 2019 Release Date Change

Sony has moved its summer 2019 tentpole Men In Black Untitled from May 17 to June 14, taking it off the date currently occupied by John Wick: Chapter Three and moving it to the date where Warner Bros has its Shaft remake. This kind of date jockeying is not unusual a year in advance. Men In Black Untitled was initially fast-tracked by Columbia this year from a script by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man and Transformers: The Last Knight). The film is being produced by…

Ian McShane Vows To Bring His Own Twist To Hellboy’s Professor Broom

Whether it’s the omnipresent Mr. Wednesday on American Gods or Winston, owner of The Contential (John Wick HQ), Ian McShane typically brings with him a sense of gravitas and grandeur that few other actors can replicate.

It’s the reason why his Brother Ray resonated with Game of Thrones viewers, despite being killed off after only one episode – such is the brutal, unforgiving nature of Westeros.

But with Hellboy, he’ll be bringing his own twist to Professor Broom (Aka Trevor Bruttenholm), founder of Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense and the adoptive father of Hellboy himself. Originally portrayed by the late, great John Hurt across Guillermo del Toro’s films, Ian McShane spoke to Fandom about how his own particular rendition of Broom differs from what has come before.

You don’t start with the birth of Hellboy… but the relationship between [Hellboy and Broom] is quite crusty. Does he trust his father?

John Wick 3 Director, Cast, and Production Start Date Revealed?

John Wick 3 will begin filming much sooner than previously thought with the return of director Chad Stahelski as well as much of the cast. Stahelski has yet to officially say that he is attached to the third movie in the trilogy, instead saying that he is the "prep director," but it appears as if he'll be on to finish the franchise out. It was revealed last week that the working title for John Wick 3 is Alpha Cop, but it was assumed that production would begin this spring or early this summer.

A new report from That Hashtag Show reveals that John Wick 3 begins production on March 1st, 2018 in New York City with other rumored locations including Russia and Spain. The New York City locations point to the possibility that the movie will take place after the events of the second movie, which is something that Keanu Reeves has talked about.

Black Widow Gets The John Wick Treatment In Slick Fan Poster

Natalia Alianovna Romanoff is finally – finally – about to spearhead a Marvel standalone movie of her own.

Otherwise known as the famous (and deadly!) Black Widow, news of a Romanoff-centric spinoff first brought the Internet to a standstill late last week, when it was revealed that Marvel had enlisted Jac Schaeffer to hash out a script.

Details are still few and far between, but there are already signs of tangible progress, as Marvel Studios looks to capitalize on its biggest female star. And not a moment too soon.

Scarlett Johansson’s former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent arguably enjoyed her best material in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Joe and Anthony Russo’s sequel that was steeped in the rich history of ’60s espionage. Taking that into consideration, we’re inclined to believe that the (R-rated?) Black Widow offshoot will double down on the character’s murky history as an ex-Soviet spy.
