I recently read a NPR transcript of a radio program Redford was part of regarding his idea to promote and inform on green issues using Youth poety. He's teamed up with Youth Speaks to promote the message in rhyme. Quite a novel idea.

I'm reminded of the 60's and 70's when the lyrics of many of the songs actually said something and influenced a generation. Some of the more cynical may see this as propaganda, but I think that art in many of its forms, has often been influenced by the times we live in.

Any thoughts on this?
