My rate: 7 - This movie tries to recreate the "sense of wonder" found in Harry Potter but, stumbles in the attempt. The story is rather simple but the script twists and bends unsure on where to go first and how to get to the end. Worths watching, nonetheless.

Votes: 425,277 | Gross: $100.55M
My rate: 8 - Many praised the movie because of the unexpected twist in the plot. There is not such a twist, but just a damn good sci-fi story. My rate could have been half a point higher, if the writer had not cheated to easily twist the plot when he needed to.

While navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future.
Votes: 342,752 | Gross: $151.10M
My rate: 6 - Not entirely a comedy, not entirely a drama, not entirely a musical. Even the name is not entirely a title. Let's face it, is just a simple romantic story.

Votes: 259,037 | Gross: $100.01M
My rate: 7 - This is a strange movie. It starts with a perfectly acceptable sci-fi story, transits over an interesting moral dilemma, and end up smashed into a trivial romantic crap. Worths a view, though.
26. Perfetti sconosciuti (2016)
97 min | Comedy, Drama
Seven long-time friends get together for a dinner. When they decide to share with each other the content of every text message, email and phone call they receive, many secrets start to unveil and the equilibrium trembles.
My rate: 5 - Mostly overrated. Director does a good job on a story that advances on dialogs rather than on actions. The problem is in the script, a fraud with a slow absorption index.
27. Pericle (2016)
104 min | Crime, Drama
A mobster becomes enlightened when he falls for a woman and decides to change his ways.
My rate: 8 - Stretched in the central part a bit too much, but a good movie without any doubts. As harsh as it should be. Daring a step further might have helped.
