I mean seriously how truly impossible is that?
Look at the basic facts, from what i've seen anyway...
1. This movie was hyped by a nice large crowd as soon as Batman Begins ended, which was hardly a flop.
2. From my perspective, it appeared that as soon as everyone heard Heath would be portraying the Joker, the film took on even more hype.
3. As soon as Heath Ledger died, most people blamed all of it on how committed he was to portraying his character, the Joker, that eventually led to his use of meds and sleeping pills, leading to his death and people basically saying it was because of how committed he was to portraying his character, hence, "He killed himself over the Joker." (I don't believe that by the way. Everyone has a breaking point and i can barely fathom even preparing myself for such an insane role and NO i don't think he committed suicide...simply made a deathly mistake, hence all the pills he consumed and my assumption he took all of 'em because of his breaking point.)
4. As i said above, some people actually believe it was strictly his performance of the Joker that led to his death and now...it's easily hyped by at least half of america, if not, 3/4 of it, not to mention the millions of people around the world...I mean seriously...who won't see this movie?
Personal opinion...this film will be a complete masterpiece and i'll end up seeing it three times just opening weekend, whose it say i'm the only one who won't do the same?
Oh and need i even mention that it's not just because of the Joker that this film has so much hype built into it? But that discussion is for The Dark Knight boards...anyway...what do you think?
